Hi! I am Pouya Alagheband, and I am a Computer Science graduate from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. As of January 2009, I have commenced my graduate studies in Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto and have been residing in Toronto ever since. Earlier in Iran, I studied Mathematics in Khajeh Nasir University. I have a passion for problem solving and programming and I also enjoy reading, hiking as part of my past time activities.

More generally I take great pleasure in participating in various non-for-profit organizations and activities within my community with a general focus on human rights movement and student centered collaborations.
